Hi.

Welcome to my humble corner of the Internet, where I expel random ideas and thoughts that may or may not be of value to you.
Oh, where are my manners? Allow me to introduce myself: I'm Sidney Rutledge, a high school student in a medium-sized town in the Great Plains, right in the middle of the bible belt.
I'm a computer enthusiast/hobbyist/technician/did I mention enthusiast? I'm the guy that typically gets called by folks, young and old alike, for all kinds of tech-related jobs, usually computer repair. I'm well on my way to being a certified technician, in fact.
I'm currently on the fence about what I want to do with my life. I'm probably going to go work in customer service in IT, for a company like Dell EMC or something. I say "or something," because I feel I would be satisfied with a career with any company in the industry.
The other option, though, which I still need to explore more before I make my final decision, is to be a programmer. That could be for web development, software engineering, game design, honestly I wouldn't care. But I love programming, even if the only languages I'm pretty fluent in are HTML and Applesoft BASIC (the latter is an interesting story, seeing as it's a 40 year old language). I only need to find out if I would truly prefer programming to a regular IT job.
I'm beginning to get interested in the automobile industry - not for my career, but just as a hobby - thanks to a couple friends of mine. There's a lot more to that field than meets the eye.
I might post amateur video game, movie, book, or anime reviews every once in a while, if I feel so inclined. Look forward to that, too.

Anyway, that's that. Stick around and you'll learn more about me over time.
--Sidney
