I really went and completely forgot about this blog.
As it happens, it has been two and a half years since the first and last time I wrote an entry on this blog.
I have no idea how, but I genuinely and completely forgot about this blog's existence entirely shortly after creating it. A lot has changed since then. I graduated high school, finished Persona 3 and 5, replaced my Galaxy S9 with an iPhone SE (and I'm about ready to replace that), and had my 2012 Mazda 3 totaled by a lady running a stop sign while I was going 45.

When I first opened this blog, it was due to the fact that I really wanted an excuse to talk about Accel World. Since then, I've completely caught up on the light novel series, and I'm still loving it. Although, it should be noted that I have found that there is nothing unique about Accel World being a light novel series. It's really kind of crazy now, given how deep into the anime/light novel rabbit hole I am, that just 20 months ago I knew so little about it all.
So now, here I am, with an even more cluttered desk and even more random interests than before. Heck, I've even dipped my toes into the intimidating sea that is the Touhou Project, having played Touhou Luna Nights, which doesn't play anything like a mainline Touhou game except for sort of being a bullet hell at times. In fact, it's more of an unusually linear Metroidvania than it is a Touhou title. The only thing Touhou about it is the music and characters -- both of which are fantastic, by the way. I want a Sakuya of my own to clean up my house and then throw knives at me.

In my first post to this blog, I mentioned how I wanted to go into I.T. rather than computer science. Well... now I have the exact opposite sentiment. I.T. work began to annoy me, resulting in me pushing most of my retro computers and related items to the side for an extended period of time. After trying (and failing) to repair stuck heads inside of a Quantum ProDrive 80S for the nth time, I decided to shelve the project and move onto actual leisure activities, such as video games and anime. That's been going okay...except that what I've actually been doing in most of my spare time is watching car-related videos on YouTube.
On top of that, I've been looking for time to finishing overhauling the sound system in my beautiful, new-to-me 2016 Honda Accord V6. Everything about that car is amazing, except for the turning radius and sound system. At 125,000 miles, it probably has more wear and tear on it than my last car did (it was only at 75,000 miles when it was totaled), but it's truly a different animal. If I could've had my first pick, I would've actually picked up a 2013 Mazda 6 V6 or a 2013 Volkswagen Passat 3.6 instead, but both of those cars were extremely difficult to find. It's fine, though, because the Accord will hold its value quite well, and if I want to sell it one day, it won't be difficult. Then I can get one of those other two cars for cheap and have essentially turned a profit.

Anyway, thanks for reading. Maybe I'll actually get back to this blog and actually use it as an outlet for once.
